Editorial policy
How we produce and stand behind our content.
The insights we publish exist to help businesses make better decisions about websites, automation, and digital operations. This page explains how that content is written, checked, and corrected.
Who writes our content
Every article on func.digital is written by a named author with hands-on experience in the subject. Insights are currently written by Jamie Brennan, a full-stack developer with 16 years of commercial experience. Each article carries a byline linking to an author page with credentials and contact details.
How content is produced
Articles are based on direct professional experience, client work, and published sources. When we reference third-party reporting, research, or opinion, we link to the original source so readers can verify claims themselves.
We use AI tools as part of our drafting and editing workflow, in the same way we recommend clients use them: as an assistant, not an author. Every article is researched, fact-checked, shaped, and approved by its named author before publication.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim for accuracy at the time of publication. When an article receives a substantive update, we show an updated date alongside the original publication date. If we get something materially wrong, we correct the article rather than quietly removing it.

Independence and commercial interest
func.digital is a commercial agency, and our insights naturally reflect the kind of work we do. We do not publish paid placements or sponsored content. If that ever changes, sponsored material will be clearly labelled.
Recommendations of specific tools or platforms are based on professional experience. We do not currently earn affiliate commissions from anything we link to.
